Everybody knows that culture around the world is not the same, no country in the world has all same as culture in other countries. This is because culture is from the things that people in that area did. It can be bad things or good things and sure every countries does many different things so the culture around the world is different. For example when we meet other people or given something in Thai we will “wai” and say “thank you” but in UK or US we don’t have to “wai” we just say “thank you”. But if I am staying in the UK and somebody gives me something but I “wai” him, it is okay nobody going to shout at me ,they only feel a little bit strange ,but it is okay. But in this world there are some cultures that we can not do in other countries if we do it people in that country will think it is very rude. Such as in US if we work hard and need to relax we usually put our legs on the table but in Japan, Japan is the country that people work very hard and people in Japan need to relax very much but they never put their legs on the table because if they do that it is very rude. So we must think all the time about where are we living, what we should do ,what we shouldn’t do.

WHAT SOCIETY EXPECTS OF ME

My parents are the people who expect the most from me because in the future I must live by myself, Nobody will give me money anymore and I must look after them too .If I am a stupid man or can’t do anything sure I will have a bad life and I can’t look after them too .So they sent me to the good school and they want me to study hard and this is the reason why my mother asks me about the homework every time I come home. My society has a lot of expectations for me because I am a young man that will grow to the man in the future and everybody wants to live in the good so they expect every teenager to be a good man and make our society better. “Good society “ means nobody kills other people , It doesn’t have bad students that will fight every time they meet student from other schools , no thieves, everybody can live in the society without worrying . I think now our society is not a really good society because this society still has a lot of thieves, a lot of bad student so we must be the good people to make our society better.

"YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY"

Parents say that “young people today are bad “but I don’t think so. I think teenage is a little time of life so we want to do something we want but sometimes our parents don’t understand and think “It’s bad , don’t do this ” I think because they love us so they don’t want bad things come to our life such as wearing sexy clothes or shopping too much. In the next paragraph I will explain what I am thinking about Thai teenagers. It isn't like what Thai parents are thinking.

I think young people in Thailand are good because they don’t do anything bad they just do like every teenager around the world does and I think Thai teenagers are better than many other country’s teenagers. I don’t think wearing fashionable clothes is bad. They just want to look good ,but I don’t agree with very strange fashions like in Japan. Many Thai teenagers think Japan is cool ,so they wear the clothes like teenagers in Japan. I think it isn’t cute or cool so I don’t wear fashionable clothes but I can’t say “You can’t wear these clothes it isn’t good” because it’s their right to wear what they want.

Sure, In Thailand there are bad teenagers and sure in Thailand there are more bad adults so don’t think teenagers are all bad anymore.

ABOUT DOME

My name is Dome. I am a man who likes fruit and my favorite fruit is banana. I love bananas because it’s delicious, easy to eat and it makes me healthy. Have you eaten the banana with melted chocolate if you haven’t you must try it and you’ll love it. It’s very nice.

Do you know why my name is Dome .My name is Dome because my father and my mother learnt at Thammasat University and Dome is the sign of Thammasat University. My parent’s business is about garments so my older brother was named Cotton.

I like to play sport and I enjoy every sport in the world. In lower secondary I would play sport everyday but now I can’t play sport everyday because sometimes I have lots of work sometimes the class ends very late so I don’t have the time to play sport.

I love to play music and I love to listen to music and my favorite kind of music is Jazz. I like Jazz music because it has improvisation. Improvisation is thinking and playing at the same time. Every time I improvise I enjoy doing it and every time I know I am better I am very happy. At first I played piano but I didn’t like it so I changed to playing guitar. Now I have played guitar for almost 5 years and I love it. My favorite musician is Joe Pass and my favorite singer is Robbie Williams.

Now let’s talk about things that I don’t like. First thing are vegetables and garlic I haven’t eaten them for a long time. I can remember when I was young I could eat vegetables I think I could eat them because I didn’t know the taste of it. Now I know it’s very bitter I can eat only spinach and morning glory. Second is the ghost I am scared of the ghost every time that I stay anywhere alone. I can’t sleep in the dark so I’ll switch on my TV every time I sleep. Now I am better than the past when I was young I couldn’t close the door ,when I was taking a bath.
